I’m so excited to see what you come up with. Mpreg is one of my favorite tropes; even just getting my requests in order was lighting little iddy fireworks. I tried to make it clear with my freeforms, but my fave sub-tropes include:

— They fucked about five months ago and they’re about five months pregnant, but they would have said something if he was the father! Guess he just has to loiter protectively and put on a very thin veneer over how desperately invested in this he is!
— Knocking up your partner/fuckbuddy as the ultimate form of possessiveness! Going to ridiculous lengths to be supportive once it takes!
— The slow loss of control of your body and life as this thing takes over (for better or worse)!

I poked a little at my signup after "finishing" this letter, and while I tried to make sure everything matched, if something is on my signup but not here or vice versa, please trust that I do genuinely want it!

DNW: apocalypse, massive natural disasters, or complete dystopias (isolated incidents fine); culturally accepted incest; graphic injury or gore, including child birth; gender or sex swap; explicit sex between characters under 16 years old; noncanonical major character death

Things that don’t squick me and aren’t hard and fast lines, but I do tend to have preferences on, at least within these requested pairings for this exchange:

• Impregnation and the parent characters dealing with the pregnancy > kidfic where the children are major characters
• Characters having conflicting feelings about their pregnancy > characters being unable to get a wanted abortion
• Characters having lapses of judgment or acting out of desperation > the impregnator twirling his mustache as he sabotages birth control
  
• Mpreg being some degree of a known phenomenon > mpreg as a complete fluke that has only happened to this one character
• ↳ That said, a character not knowing he can get pregnant or it being rare enough that he hadn’t heard of it is very good

• A Live Boy: Still being politically minded, Errol just cannot (and will not!) allow himself to be seduced by the young, traumatized and clearly just rebounding Dylan Mathis. No. Just no. The scandal, it’s far too much. (They do it anyway.)

• I Know: This pairing breaks just about every preference I said at the top of the letter: I love Jack, and I love how obviously adversed to parenthood John was at first and how he had to work hard to improve. I prefer high honor Arthur, but that still leaves room for a lot of gray, especially in their extended history.
  — If you want to go extra angsty, maybe Isaac was their first go at parenthood before he got caught in the middle of their lifestyle
  — Good with either the canonical ending or divergence into how the original RDR might’ve been different if it had been the three of them
  — I would prefer Abigail be made an ex or another gang member

I always love seeing what people come up with in original works! For this exchange however, I’d prefer no darkfic. For me, that means things like dying in childbirth, impregnation as a form of control, the requested ships as abusive relationships, and things of that nature. I still love dubcon and mild-to-medium angst, though! When in doubt, I’d definitely still prefer that you lean into your inspiration over worrying about being too dark for.
