Hello!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write for me. I hope it’s a fun time for you, because this feels very self-indulgent venting on my end 😅 This is in no way a comprehensive list of all that I like, but I hope it's helpful! Some of these ended up longer than the other, but love requested fandoms and ships equally!

- plastics on AO3

General

Plotty likes: Relationship messiness (infidelity, rough patches in established relationships, break up-make up, codependency, etc.), physical or social isolation (secluded campuses, sports teams, cults, snowed in), loyalty and ground dynamics, AUs that transport canon dynamics into new spaces, missing scenes, competency

Art likes: oversaturation, contrast, color blocking; tender moments (fingers brushing, kissing, holding hands, intense eye contact), atmosphere and settings; details and clutter. ex: x | x | X

Smutty likes: abuse of power - altered states (heats, drugs, etc.) - assplay - begging - big guys on top - bruising or biting - casual sex - come marking - dirty talk - dubious consent - edging - embarrassment - finger sucking, finger fucking - first times - informal D/s - manhandling - mouth kink - multiple orgasms - nipple play - oral sex - over the clothes - overstimulation - people being really fucking into each other - power imbalances - rough sex - size differences

DNW: apocalypse, massive natural disasters, or complete dystopias (isolated incidents fine); culturally accepted incest; graphic injury or gore and body horror; gender or sex swap; impact play (spanking, caning, etc.); slavery; explicit underage sex (<16), unrequested poly

Requests

1917

Requests: Tom Blake/William Schofield

Given the nature of the canon, it feels weird to say that Blake and Schofield’s interactions were sweet, but… they were? I think part of why 1917 worked as well as it did was because of those moments where you could exhale, and I’d love to see how a relationship between the two of them may have fit into those moments pre-canon.

The “age before beauty” really killed me; Schofield was so aware of Blake’s relative youth and naivete, even through his bravery and bullheadedness, and I’d love to see that explored more, too.

Post-canon would also be really interesting, either canon-compliant PAIN or them maybe trying to adjust to something back in the real world - the trauma, the attitudes of the time, Schrodinger's Schofield's Family. (I'm into either the "sister and nieces route" or infidelity; please don’t villainize Mrs. Schofield either way.)

I'm not as familiar with British military history, but I'd also be interested how things might look different if they'd been soldiers in another war (or isn't).

The Adventure Zone

Requests: Duck Newton/Sheriff Zeke Owens, Jeremiah Blackwell/Dylan Mathis, Dylan Mathis/Errol Ryehouse

Amnesty:

Duck Newton/Sheriff Zeke Owens
— The small-town vibes in this arc were easily my favorite part, and I am so, so, so into class president, QB1, National Honors Society-ass Zeke being hopelessly in love with teenage burnout Duck. And I’m also very interested in watching it all fall apart, because Zeke may be eighteen-in-two-months but he is Ready to set the rest of his life up now, and Duck’s just like… chill. Alternatively it’s the 90s in West Virginia and maybe it wasn’t such a fun place to be fooling around with another guy. But maybe it’d be a bit better now.

Dust:

Jeremiah Blackwell/Dylan Mathis
I really aggressively “haha… unless”ed myself with last year’s Jump Scare freeforms.
— “Pregnant and on the run” and “pregnant and trying to hide it from the enemy/monster” were the original tags that embedded this so deeply in my mind.
— Basically the build-up to canon, but also he’s pregnant, not that he can say anything to anyone, because he’s a Blackwell (/his twin sister’s fiance).
— Pre-canon where Jeremiah and Dylan are disgustingly Young and In Love and Gonna Do Something About It.
— Or, like, all this without the mpreg.

Dylan Mathis/Errol Ryehouse
— Still being politically minded, Errol just cannot (and will not!) allow himself to be seduced by the young, traumatized and clearly just rebounding Dylan Mathis. No. Just no. The scandal, it’s far too much. (They do it anyway.)

Animal Crossing

Requests: Beau/Erik, Cranky Villager/Smug Villager, Jock Villager/ Lazy Villager

Fandom-specific DNW: Human AUs, explicit smut

It probably says something about me that this is the fandom I'm most flustered about, probably because it is all just so extremely E is for Everyone. I don't want to do a full AUs DNW, because I'm not opposed to, like, Animal Crossing by George Orwell or Animal Crossing: In The Workplace! At School! On An Archaeological Dig! In A Cult! but I'd like it to be more or less consistent with the tone of the series?

The literal only example I can give to the line I'm trying to establish here is that I genuinely find Slave Bear of Care-A-Lot to be a very enjoyable read, if not an erotic one. I'm sorry. I know this probably doesn't clear anything up. Here are some canon-compliant prompts if you understandably don't want to dance that tango:

— Oh no, [Player Character] is [sick, time traveling, focusing on other projects] and it’s the last day to catch [rare bug/fish]! It’s up to them to get that [bug/fish] to Blathers! Or breeding some flowers, or tending to the fruit trade, or any of the other chores that goes into maintaining the town/island.

— The random slice of life you can stumble upon villagers doing: Smoothies! Sandwiches! Sitting in the shade! Going to the K.K. Concert! Together!!!!
— The utter ridiculousness that must pass as courting in this game: talk, talk, talk, letter, talk, 20,000 bells worth of peaches, nicknames, The Resident Representative Has Escorted Us To Harv’s Island For Wedding Season And Then Moved Our Houses Into A Shared Yard
— Letters! Post cards!!!!

Preferred Villagers

Cranky: Apollo, Bruce, Butch, Chief, Chow, Fang, Hamphrey, Kabuki, Lobo, Monty, Murphy, Octavian, Vladimir, Wolfgang

Jock: Bam, Boone, Cousteau, Dom, Flip, Genji, Hamlet, Iggly, Jitters, Kevin, Kody, Roald, Rudy

Lazy: Beau, Bob, Bones, Boomer, Chester, Cole, Cube, Derwin, Drake, Elmer, Erik, Filbert, Paolo, Puck, Sherb, Zucker

Smug: Chadder, Chops, Eugene, Hans, Jacques, Julian, Keaton, Kidd, Kyle, Lopez, Pietro, Shep, Zell

Audition - Said Sayrafiezadeh

Requests: Narrator/Duncan Dioguardi

This story has just stuck in my brain since I first heard it, then read it, then read Sayrafiezadeh's entire backlog in The New Yorker, then reread it.

I think it's balanced so, so well at the first drop of a roller coaster, where the adrenaline hasn't quite burned off the fear yet, but being the way I am, I desperately want more, farther, with more ill-advised fucking. How far will they go? When does the big break come and how does it go down? Does either of them make it out?

I'm sorry that I don't have more prompts for you, but if you've read the story and are inspired to write more, I'd love love love seeing it.

Bon Appetit Test Kitchen

Requests: Vincent Cross/Brad Leone, Andy Baraghani/Chris Morocco, Andy Baraghani/Brad Leone, Alex Delany/Brad Leone

Edit 6/10/2020: Please no treats for this fandom, thank you <3

I just love how much chemistry everyone has together! This is a very happy, escapist canon for me, but I'm also all about how intense the food world and New York and the food scene in New York is. For any married characters, I'd prefer the partners/families either don't exist or that the divorce was very amicable (or, if it got messy, that the wives weren't the bad guys).

I have a teeny bit more to say about some of these, but I swear I want them all equally!

Cross/Leone: Gone all too soon; there’s never enough of them hooking up during all the nice trips they went on together, and I’d love to see the transition from work husbands to fuck buddies to, oh god, more???

Baraghani/Morocco: Station 3 buddies! I started shipping them even before BA Youtube became a big enough demand as many shows as it currently runs (well, “currently”) and I absolutely loved how they both just seemed to gel in a very… I don’t want to seem chill, because that doesn’t feel like an appropriate word for either of them, but still! They’re also clearly in very different stages in their lives, and I’d love to see how that meshes.

Baraghani/Leone: I mean, first of all: big/small. Second of all: """former""" stoners, sure, okay. Third of all: Like with B/M, I’ve very into the dynamic of the self-proclaimed try-hard baby of the test kitchen/very settled dude. Fourth of all: I like how Brad has a very rustic vibe and Andy has a more chef-y approach, but then you put them together and… Brad’s nuts. Brad will do anything. Brad will ferment an egg yolk at room temperature for a year. What kind of relationship comes out of Make Perfect Cranberry Sauce???

Delaney/Leone: I love a good frenemy dynamic, especially since Brad just seems to pick little enemies for fun sometimes. Maybe they’re rival frat stars/club hockey captains/food court stall managers. IDK! There are a lot of fun ways to go with them.

The Gentlemen

Requests: Dry Eye/Raymond Smith, Power Noel/Raymond Smith

Power Noel/Raymond Smith

Maybe Ray finds out how Noel gets his fun money not strictly at a distance and maybe not strictly before Mickey sets him on the case
— Maybe Mickey’s a filthy hypocrite about the moral superiority of dealing weed over the harder stuff, and that’s how their paths cross again
Maybe they somehow end up raising a weenie dog together, idk, these things are hard to say

Dry Eye/Raymond Smith

— I was so, so briefly impressed when I thought this movie killed Matthew McConaughey within the opening scene. Then I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, and instead it was just endless lowkey-at-best racism and gay sex as a taunt with no follow-through. Alas! Clearly Dry Eye/Ray teaming up is the best way to remedy this situation.
— — Also. Like. Look at Henry Golding and Charlie Hunnam. Look at them.

The Lighthouse

Requests: Tommy Howard/Real Ephraim Winslow

DNW waived: Graphic violence

Basically, I’d like The Lighthouse: The Loghouse; this movie was such a miserable, twisted, desperately horny ride, and I’d love to see the same thing happening up in Hudson Bay, or at least parts of it. What drove Tommy north? Did he try as hard to start on the right foot? Did Original Winslow try as hard to tear him down? Did the tension between them have a weird, intense sexual edge right up until the end? I feel like we know the answer to those last two.

I don’t usually like dealing with religion head-on, but if you wanted to do something with Catholicism and Tommy’s desperate urge to confess and him getting all sexily torn up a la St. Seb, I would be deeply unopposed.

Music RPF

Requests: Frank Ocean/Tyler "the Creator" Okonma, Frank Ocean/Travis Scott, Frank Ocean/Original Male Characters

FRANK!

— With Tyler: The “I’m not HOMOPHOBIC I’m BFFs with FRANK OCEAN” era: did they talk about it? Did they not-talk about it? Did they maybe hook up once or twice or three times but it’s not like it’s a thing?

— With Travis: Frank in the third verse is what really caught my interest the first time I heard “Carousel”, and listening to it on repeat really just... well, evoked the Frank classic of people spiraling with too many drugs and not enough rest in the worstbest time of their life. So, more of them not being able to trust anyone but their wallet and maybe each other on a good day? Also them beefing about Frank’s vocals? Hilarious. Artistic types, man.

— With Whoever: Between non-famous partners or songs written without an obvious inspiration, please use this as a free space for any flings he’s floating through, firsts, The One(s), hookups from the skater days…
